TiouRead collects only the minimum information necessary to provide our services:

Account information: Display name and email address when you register.
Reading activity: Books you add to your bookshelf, reading status, and reviews you write — stored to personalize your experience.
Conversion history: Anonymous session-based logs of file conversions (format type and file size only, never the file contents).
Usage data: Standard server logs including page views and feature usage for product improvement.

2. File Conversion Privacy

All file conversions on TiouRead are processed entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never transmitted to any third party. We only log the file format type and size for aggregate statistics — never the file contents.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve our library and conversion services.
To personalize your book recommendations.
To display your profile and reading activity to other community members (only information you choose to make public).
To send important service notifications (no marketing emails without your consent).

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies that ensure only you can access your personal data. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your profile settings.
Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Delete your account, which permanently removes all associated data.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and theme preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
